Deshayani Ekadashi 2022: Do gods really sleep on Devshayani Ekadashi or are gods of sleep, no other meaning

It is said that on the day of Devshayani Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu, the sustainer of the world, goes into sleep for 4 months and goes on Devuthani Ekadashi. Know what is the facts behind this belief. Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month is called Devshayani Ekadashi. Dev Shayani Ekadashi is considered very important in the scriptures. It is believed that on this Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu, the sustainer of the world, goes to sleep for four months. In these 4 months, the responsibility of running the world is in the hands of Lord Shiva. He protects the earth and also takes care of all the work. This Ekadashi is called Devshayani and Harishayani Ekadashi because the deity has gone into sleep. Where is the sleep period of four months of green sleep known as Chaturmas. Chaturmas is considered special for worship, but in the meantime it is forbidden to do any kind of auspicious work. In the month of Kartik, when Lord Narayan awakens from Yoga Nidra on Dev Uthani Ekadashi. Manglik works start from that day. This time Devshayani Ekadashi is on 10th July. In such a situation, the thing to think about is whether God really sleeps on Devshayani Ekadashi or there is some other meaning. Here we will understand about it. Understand the meaning of Devshayan and Dev Jagran: According to astrologer Dr. Arvind Mishra, one who is always awake on the Chaitanya level is considered to be God. In fact, Devshayan and Dev Jagran are the arrangements made by the sages for the common people, so that people can be connected with religion and their life is arranged according to the time. From the time of Devshayani Ekadashi to Devuthani Ekadashi, there is a change in the weather, in such a situation, by barring these days for auspicious works, people have been asked to follow certain rules. That's why the rules have been made:

Devshayani Ekadashi takes place in the month of Ashadha. After a few days, the Sawan begins. The month of Sawan is the month of the rainy season. After the end of the rainy season, winter starts coming i.e. these months of Chaturmas are the months of change of seasons. When the weather changes, the immune system of our body becomes weak. The risk of cold-cold and flu and infection increases. Due to the change in weather, our body catches diseases quickly. Insects start growing in all vegetables and fruits. Normal life becomes a little disturbed and planet-centric due to rain. For this reason, during these 4 months, it is advisable not to do auspicious things, to be careful about food and to lead a restrained life. Good luck what to do:

In these 4 months, a person should worship God to make himself mentally strong.

Fried, roasted, rich food, milk and other dairy products should not be consumed, lightly digestible, satvik food should be taken. It is best to have one meal at a time.

There is a rainy season during Chaturmas. In such a situation, many types of insects flourish, in such a situation, brinjal, cabbage, radish and green leafy vegetables should not be eaten.

That means they should be avoided. To strengthen immunity, one should keep doing yoga and pranayama. It is forbidden to do any kind of auspicious work in the meantime due to the rain when public life and arrangements are disturbed.
