7 to 9 in the morning – At this time the life force is especially in the stomach. This time is above for food. During this time more digestive juices are produced. Drink lukewarm water (according to convenience) sips in between meals.

 

11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - At this time the life force is especially in the heart.

 

 There is a law in our culture to do noon-sandhya (rest) around noon. That's why food is forbidden. Liquids can be taken at this time. Like you can drink whey. You can eat curd.

 

1 to 3 pm -- At this time the vitality is especially in the small intestine. Its function is to absorb nutrients from the diet and push waste materials to the large intestine. Water should be drunk after meals according to thirst. Eating or sleeping at this time hinders the absorption of nutritious food and juices and the body becomes sick and weak.

 

3 to 5 pm - At this time the life force is especially in the bladder. Drinking water 2-4 hours before tends to pass urine at this time.

 

5 to 7 in the evening - At this time the life force is especially in the kidney. Light food should be taken during this time. It would be better to have food in the evening 40 minutes before sunset. Night 11 to 1 - At this time the life force is especially in the gall bladder. The awakening of this time produces bile disorders, insomnia, eye diseases, and brings early old age. New cells are formed at this time.

 

Night 1 to 3 - At this time the life force is especially in the liver. It is the function of the liver to do fine digestion of food. The awakening of this time spoils the liver and digestive system. If you keep awake during this time, the body starts falling into sleep, the eyesight becomes dim and the reactions of the body are slow. Hence road accidents are more at this time.

Note: - Rishis and Ayurvedacharyas have said that it is forbidden to eat food without feeling hungry. Therefore, the quantity of food in the morning and evening should be kept in such a way that during the time mentioned above, one gets hungry openly. Laying something on the ground and sitting in Sukhasan, eat food. In this posture, due to the activation of the Mooladhara Chakra, the gastric fire remains lit. Digestive power is weak in sitting on a chair and eating food while standing does not happen at all. That's why 'buffet dinner' should be avoided.
