It is believed that donation holds special significance on the day of Amavasya Tithi. Shadow donation-
On the day of Shani Amavasya, pour some mustard oil into a vessel. Put a coin of one rupee in it and after seeing the shadow of your face in the oil, kindly donate that oil.
