Utpanna Ekadashi 2022: When will the second Ekadashi of November fall, know the method of worship, auspicious time and rules

 Utpanna Ekadashi is the second Ekadashi of the month of November.  By fasting on the day of Utpanna Ekadashi, the grace of Trilog husband Shri Hari is received.  According to the Hindu Panchag, the Ekadashi fast which falls in the Krishna Paksha and Shukla Paksha of every month is of great importance.  And the Ekadashi that falls in the month of Agahan is known as Utpanna Ekadashi.  It is believed that the importance of Utpanna Ekadashi increases even more when this Ekadashi falls in Marshish.  Because the whole month of Marshish is in the name of Lord Vishnu.  That's why this month is considered best for the worship of Shri Hari.  This year Utpanna Ekadashi is falling on Sunday, 20 November 2022.  Let us know in detail about Utpanna Ekadashi.

 Religious Importance of Utpanna Ekadashi Vrat There is such a belief about Utpanna Ekadashi that whoever observes Utpanna Ekadashi fast with a true heart, all his wishes are fulfilled by the grace of Shri Hari.  In Hindu religion, all the Ekadashis are considered as the form of Goddess.  About whom it is believed that his appearance is called Marshish or it happened on this day in the Krishna Paksha of the month of Agahan.  Ekadashi fast is considered very fruitful in Hinduism.  Anyone can keep this fast.  If you have to observe Utpanna Ekadashi fast for the first time, then you should fast on this Ekadashi which falls in the Krishna Paksha of the month of Marshish.

Auspicious time of Utpanna Ekadashi According to the Hindu calendar, Utpanna Ekadashi is considered the most auspicious to receive the blessings of Shri Hari.  The date of Utpanna Ekadashi is starting from 19 November 2022, Saturday morning at 10:29 minutes.  And the day is ending on Sunday, 20 November 2022.  And in the Sanatan tradition, Teej-festivals are celebrated on the basis of Udaya Tithi, so this year the fast of Utpanna Ekadashi, which falls in the month of Agahan, will be observed on 20 November 2022 only.  While the Paran of this fast will be observed the next day, 21 November 2022, on Monday morning between 6:48 to 8:56 minutes.

 When will Ekadashi fast be observed in December 2022? Mokshada Ekadashi fast is on 3rd December 2022, Saturday.

 Safla Ekadashi is on Monday, 19 December 2022.
Worship method of Utpanna Ekadashi fast: On the day of Utpanna Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and take a bath and make a resolution to Utpanna Ekadashi Vrat by offering Arghya to the Sun God.  On this day, worship Lord Vishnu with complete rituals.  After offering yellow flowers, yellow fruits and yellow sandalwood to Sri Hari, after placing a clean yellow cloth on a post at the place of worship of your house, placing a photo of Lord Vishnu on it, tell the story of Ekadashi fast and also tell it to the family members.  After that perform aarti of Lord Vishnu and finally pray to God for fulfillment of your wishes.

 Rules of Utpanna Ekadashi Vrat Do not consume rice in the evening a day before Utpanna Ekadashi Vrat.  Salt should not be eaten during this fast.  Don't pluck basil leaves on this day even by mistake.  On the day of Utpanna Ekadashi, pluck the Tulsi leaf used in the worship of Lord Vishnu a day in advance.  On this day, offer yellow colored flowers to Lord Vishnu and some yellow as food.  Doing this is considered very auspicious.
