Chaitra Navaratri is starting from today that is 13th April. In these nine days, the nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped. According to religious scriptures, colours also have special significance in Navratri. It is said that the nine colours of these nine days are dedicated to every form of Mata Durga. If the mother's grace is needed in Navratri, then worship only by wearing clothes of these colours.
Let's know about these colours:
Day-1- On the first day of Navratri Goddess Shailputri is worshiped. Yellow clothes are worn on this day. It is said that one can get good luck by wearing yellow clothes and performing pooja.
Day-2- On the Second day Goddess Brahmacharini is worshiped. Maa Brahmacharini loves green colour. Therefore, wear green clothes and worship on this day.
Day-3- On the third day Goddess Chandraghanta is worshiped. On this day, you can please Maa Durga by wearing brown clothes.
Day-4- On the fourth day Goddess Kushmanda is worshiped. Maa Kushmanda likes orange colour. On this day, you should worship Maa Durga by wearing an orange colour.
Day-5- On the fifth day Goddess Skandamata is worshiped. Wearing white on this day is considered auspicious.
Day-6- On Shashthi, sixth day Goddess Katyayani is worshiped. Red colour is considered very auspicious for this day.
Day-7- On Saptami, seventh day Goddess Kalratri is worshiped. Wearing blue on this day is considered auspicious.
Day-8- On Ashtami, eighth day Goddess Mahagauri is worshiped. It is auspicious to wear pink on this day. On this day, worship Goddess by wearing pink clothes.
Day-9- On ninth day Goddess Siddhidatri is worshiped. It is very auspicious to wear purple on this day. Worship the mother only by wearing clothes of this colour and feed food to the girls. You will get the full fruits of worship.
