1. Mata Lakshmi likes cleanliness: Mata Lakshmi resides in the same house where there is cleanliness and peace. That is why often houses are decorated by painting them. If you want to bring prosperity in the house then this work must be done. Before inviting Lakshmi, it is necessary to bid farewell to the old and unused items. Getting rid of junk is directly related to economic progress.

2. Vastu defects are removed: Once or twice a year, by painting, cleaning and painting the house, cracks, wear and tear, sound of doors, damp marks and discolored walls become good. Due to this the Vastu defect of the house also gets eliminated.

3. To remove negative energy: By doing paint, cleaning and lip-painting, the negative energy of the house also comes out and positive energy is transmitted. Lighting of lamp along with pylon, rangoli, decoration at the main gate is like an invitation and welcome to the auspicious energies. A door with auspicious signs is helpful in inviting Lakshmi and other deities.

 4. Mind remains happy: By doing paint-painting, cleaning and lip-painting, a fragrant atmosphere is created, due to which the anguish of the mind also disappears and the mind remains happy. During the festival, the atmosphere of the house should be fragrant with incense sticks. There should not be any foul smell in the house on other days also. The scriptures say - 'Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam'.

5. Ishaan Dosh is far away: According to Vastu, the worship room of Ishaan i.e. North-East direction is best. On festivals, worship should also be done in this worship room or in any room in the east-central or north-central. The central part of the house is called Brahma Sthan. You can also worship here. One should face east or west while worshiping. Other directions are prohibited. If the house remains free from Ishaan Dosha, then all the Gods and Goddesses remain happy and their blessings remain on you.
