Their trunk should be bent to the left and the mouse must be their vehicle along with it. After taking the idols, cover them with a cloth and bring them home with pomp with drums.
At the time of installation of the idol, remove the cloth from the idol and put Akshat on it before entering the idol in the house. Establish the idol by laying a post in the east or northeast direction. At the time of installation, spread a red or green cloth on the post and install the idol of Lord Ganesha on top of Akshat. Sprinkle Gangajal on the idol of Lord Ganesha and wear a janeu to Ganpati. Establish an urn by placing Akshat on the left side of the idol. Make a swastika sign on the Kalash and tie Kalawa on mango leaves and coconut and place it on the Kalash. After this, start the worship with the law.
