According to the official spokesperson, the state government has issued a separate format for the health certificate.

According to the letter issued by the Government of Uttarakhand regarding precautions and necessary guidelines related to Kovid-19, all the devotees will have to register themselves on the state government portal and download the Arogya Setu app on their mobile phones. According to the release letter, senior citizens above 65 years of age, those suffering from serious illness, pregnant women and children below 10 years have been advised not to attend the Kumbh Mela.

Days when the royal bath will take place-

1. First Royal Bath- 11 March 2021, Day Thursday, Festival- Mahashivratri. According to the scriptures, the credit of the presence of Ganga on earth goes to Lord Shiva. This is why bathing in the holy river has special significance on this day. The first royal bath of Mahakumbh has taken place.
2. Second Royal Bath- 12 April 2021, Day Monday, Festival- Somvati Amavasya. Ganga bath has special significance on Somavati Amavasya. It is believed that the moon is the factor of water, the attainment of water and Somvati is considered the nectar on the new moon.
3. Third Royal Bath- 14 April 2021, Day Wednesday, Festivals- Aries Sankranti and Baisakhi. On this auspicious day, the water of the rivers turns into nectar. According to astrology, a holy dip in the holy Ganges on this day can destroy the sins of many lives.
4. Fourth Royal Bath- 27 April 2021, Day Tuesday, Festival- Chaitra Purnima. It is one of the most important days to bathe in the holy Ganges and is known as the 'Amrit Yoga' day.
