Hartalika Teej Date and Subh Muhurat
According to the Hindu calendar, the Shukla date of Bhadrapada month will be updated at 8 pm. This time there are two Muhurtas of Hartalika Teej one after the other and the other in pradosh period in the form of Sun God.
The Auspicious time of worship will be from 06:03 am to 08:33 am. Apart from this, it will be from 06:33 pm to 08:51 pm during the Pradosh Period.
Women can accomplish puja either in the morning or in the evening.
Hartalika Puja Vidhi
Hartalika Teej is Worshiped during Pradosh Kaal. On the day of the puja, wake up in the morning and take a bath, then take a vow of fasting and worship by wearing new clothes. After this, wash the place of worship, put the statue of Lord Shiva, mata Parvati, and Lord Ganesha made of clay on a banana leaf. Offer makeup to Maa Parvati. Listen to the vrat Katha in the evening and do Jagran in the night. After this, the next morning breaks the fast.

Rules of Worship
1. On the day of teej, Make idols of Lord Shiva, mata Parvati, and Ganeshji out of clay. On this day women observe Nirjala Fast, Food water should not be taken throughout the day. The next morning fast is broken after the worship of Mata Parvati by drinking water.
2. Reciting the Vrat Katha on the day of teej is considered auspicious.
3. It is considered most auspicious to worship hartalika Teej in Pradosh period after sunset. We should offer clothes to lord shiva and Mata Parvati.
Significance of Hartalika teej
According to Hindu Mythology, Mata Parvati wanted to marry Lord Shiva, but her father didn’t approve, rather accepted the proposal of Lord Vishnu. After hearing this, Mata Parvati seeks the help of her friend in hiding in an out-of-the-way place in the forest. Mata Parvati was able to please Lord Shiva by performing an intense penance.
From that day onwards, on this subh tithi, married women worship Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati and go for their blessings for happy, healthy, and flourishing marital life.
