How to Refrain from Overthinking?

The mind's operation starts the moment you identify with someone other than who you really are. It is impossible to avoid it. Have you attempted it? You simply pass the time by entertaining yourself. Make no attempt to amuse yourself. Simply sit for 24 hours and try to shut your mind off. You'll find out where it leads. You will be insane in three days. Its as if you ate bad food and now you have gas. Attempting to keep it will not help. Simply put, you should avoid eating bad food.

You have false identifications, and if you have false identifications, your mind is constantly active. Whatever you do, you will not be able to stop it. Let's say you started staring at a beautiful sunrise, and your thinking vanished for a while because something far bigger was going on. Or you were engrossed in something you deemed significant, and the thought vanished for a period of time. Those were the most wonderful times of your life.

When you connect with the larger, the smaller items naturally fade away. The root of life that operates inside you is much more powerful than the thinking process.This idea has become so critical because you never came into contact with it. Or, to put it another way, if your thinking is really significant, it means that the creator's existence is unimportant somewhere in your skewed vision. Your own development has taken on a new significance. You are preoccupied with your own creation and pay little attention to the creator within you or his creation. Isn't this the most heinous act against the Creator? You haven't even considered the root of life inside you for a second. Life would be so different if you knew the bliss of being able to just sit here, not worrying or doing something, just being life.

Different human beings are capable of different ways when it comes to the outside world. When it comes to the interior, however, we are all equally capable. It did not happen because you were not paying attention, because it was complicated or unapproachable, or because you lacked the necessary qualifications. For inner nature, every human being is equally eligible. If you want to build a home, cook a meal, or do something else, each of us is capable of different ways. When it comes to inner truths, though, we are all equal. It happened to one but not to the other simply because one of them was not paying attention.

When you see it as it is, rather than as your mind perceives it, you will realise that everything is so insignificant. What your mind can do, what the universe can do, is so insignificant that you can simply play with it to your heart's content.

You can simply withdraw if you don't want to. Both are aware of their surroundings. You no longer have any compulsive tendencies. All compulsiveness in you is gone the moment you start witnessing the very root of creation; now it is by choice, and life becomes beautiful.

Life becomes amazing when you want to do so, not because of what is happening. There is no such thing as pretty or ugly. All is beautiful if you want to do it and get involved. All is bad if it is forced upon you or if it is compulsive. The same can be said for mental behaviour. You might have played with your mind if you were aware of it, which is a great device, but because it is compulsive, it has become stressful.
