According to religious texts, the tradition of conducting Yagya and Havan has been going on since time immemorial. Even today Havan is considered as auspicious as it was before. It is believed that no worship, chanting of mantras can be completed without Havan, Yagya. The tradition of Yagya and Havan is going on since the time of Sanatan.

Havan is considered a ritual of purification in Hinduism. The effect of evil spirits around is eliminated through Havan. Havan is the process of delivering havi (food) to the deity through fire in the kind. It is said that a havan, a yajna, is performed to purify the air. Havan is also performed for health and prosperity. When wood with medicinal properties and pure cow's ghee is put in the fire, its effect brings happiness.

It is believed that the effect of the smoke of Havan on the environment remains for a long time and during this period poisonous germs do not grow. If there is a Vastu defect in the door of the house, then it is considered auspicious to do havan with the mantra of the sun.

Hinduism (Sanskrit: Hindu religion) is a religion (or, way of life) whose adherents form a majority in India, Nepal and Mauritius. Also Suriname, Fiji etc. It is considered to be the oldest religion in the world. It is also called 'Vedic Sanatan Varnashrama Dharma' which means that its origin is even before the origin of humans. Scholars consider Hinduism as a mixture of different cultures and traditions of India which has no founder.

This religion encompasses many different worship systems, beliefs, sects and philosophies in itself. It is the third-largest religion in the world based on the number of followers. Most of its worshipers are in India on the basis of numbers and in Nepal on the basis of percentage. Although many gods and goddesses are worshipped in it, it is actually a monotheistic religion.

It is also called Sanatan Dharma or Vedic Dharma. The formal name of this religion in Indonesia is "Hindu Agam". Hinduism is not merely a religion or sect but a way of life

the oldest religions on earth; However, there are many opinions of many scholars about its history. Modern historians consider the history of this religion to be a few thousand years old on the basis of archaeological discoveries like Harappa, Mehrgarh etc. Where many signs of Hinduism are found in the Indus Valley Civilization of India (and modern Pakistani territory). Among these, the idols of an unknown mother goddess, the postures of a deity like Lord Shiva Pashupati, Shivalinga, Peepal worship, etc. are prominent. According to one view of historians, during the end of this civilization, another race arrived from Central Asia, who called themselves Aryans and spoke an Indo-European language called Sanskrit.

The civilization of Aryans is called Vedic civilization. According to the first view, Aryans settled in Afghanistan, Kashmir, Punjab and Haryana in about 1700 BC. Since then those people (their learned sages) started composing mantras in Vedic Sanskrit to please their gods. The first four Vedas were composed, of which the Rigveda was the first. Then came texts like the Upanishads. According to Hindu belief, Vedas, Upanishads etc. are eternal, eternal, by the grace of God, different sages got knowledge of different scriptures who then wrote them down. After the separation of Buddhism and religion, there was a lot of change in the Vedic religion. New gods and new visions emerged. Thus modern Hinduism was born.

According to the second point of view, the origin of Hinduism is probably in the Indian tradition even earlier than the Indus-Saraswati tradition (the source of which is found in the 6500 BC culture of Mehrgarh). However, anti-India scholars, despite many efforts, could not prove their idea even on the basis of misleading evidence.
