According to the Hindi Panchang, the new moon date of Jyeshtha month is starting from 01.57 pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, and ends on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 04.20 pm. Udaya tithi for bath donation is on the 10th of June. That is why Jyeshtha Amavasya is on 10th June. Religious work will be done on this day itself.
Jyeshtha Amavasya worship Method
On the day of Amavasya, one should take a bath in the holy river, reservoir or pond, etc. in the morning. Although this is the time of epidemic, so take a bath at home, it will be better. If you want, you can take bath by pouring Ganges water in the water of the bucket. On this day, after offering Arghya to the Sun God, the ancestors should be worshipped. Arghya should be offered to Sun God by pouring water, red sandalwood, and red-colored flowers in a copper vessel. Fast for the peace of the souls of the ancestors. On the day of Amavasya, give charity and Dakshina to a poor person.
