5. Women observing fast should control their speech. Do not speak of any ill to any elder in the house.
6. Do not quarrel with your husband. It is said in the scriptures that the result of fasting will not be achieved by quarreling with the husband.
7. Do not donate white things. Like white clothes, milk, curd, rice, etc.
8. Avoid using sharp objects. Do not do needlework. It is better if you do not do embroidery, sewing, or buttoning.

Get up in the morning before sunrise and take a bath. After this, after taking food mixed in the form of sargi, drink water and after worshiping Lord Ganesha, take a vow to observe a fast. After this, neither eat nor drink anything before the moon sighting.
For worship, in the evening on an earthen altar, install all the deities and get it done. Place incense, lamp, sandalwood, roli vermilion on a plate and light a ghee lamp. Start the puja an hour before the moon rises. After seeing the moon, break the fast.
