1. Before wearing Tulsi garland, wash it with Ganges water and wear it after it dries.

2. People wearing this garland should chant daily, because of this the grace of Lord Vishnu remains on you.

3. People wearing Tulsi garland should always eat sattvik food. This means that things like garlic, onion, meat-fish etc. should not be consumed in the food.

4. Under no circumstances should the Tulsi garland be separated from your body.

Such people wear Tulsi beads who are devotees of Lord Vishnu and Krishna. It is believed that wearing this garland keeps your mind calm and purifies the soul. It is said that wearing this garland gets rid of diseases. According to astrology also, Tulsi garland is considered important.
