Marriage marks the beginning of the Grihastha Ashram, says, astrologer Pandit Sujeet Ji Maharaj. The institution of marriage gives a new direction to life and makes it meaningful. Though a bond, it gives freedom from sorrow, problems, loneliness etc. However, it is important to match the natal charts (Kundali) of the prospective bride and the prospective groom. If there is a dosha, it can be eliminated by performing pujas and finding appropriate solutions. And most importantly, it is important to marry during the most auspicious day to avoid undue problems and troubles. Weddings are not planned during Chaturmas i.e. from Hari Shayani or Dev Shayani Ekadashi in Ashadha month to Devuthani Ekadashi in Kartik month (period roughly between the second half of July the first half of November).
