How to offer Arghya to the Sun
In mythological religious texts, special importance has been given to the Arghyadan of Lord Surya. Arghya should be offered to Lord Surya every morning by taking water in a copper vessel and adding red flowers, rice grain(Akshat) and chanting Surya Mantra with a happy heart. When pleased with this Arghyadan, Lord Surya bestows the devotee with age, health, wealth, grain, son, friend, brilliance, fame, learning, splendour and good fortune.
