Do not complete the circumambulation of Shivling –

 Some rules have been mentioned in the religious scriptures for the circumambulation of Shivling. It is said that if they are not followed, then the fruit of worshiping Shiva is not available. In religious texts, it has been asked to circumambulate half the Shivling. In religious scriptures, it has been asked to circumambulate the Shivling in the form of a moon. It is believed that the complete circumambulation of Shivling should not be done. The circumambulation of Shivling should always be started from the left side. After this, after doing half the circumambulation, one should return to the same place from where the circumambulation started.

 

Never cross the aquifer Shivling–

The place from where the water of Shivling flows is called Jaldhari, Nirmali and Somasutra. It is said that after offering water to Shivling, it should never be crossed. If you do this even by mistake, then the energy of the water-dweller enters the body through the feet of the person. Due to this there can be physical and mental diseases in the body.

 

Sprinkle Shivling water in the house–

According to religious scriptures, the upper part of the Shivling represents the male and the lower part represents the female. Due to this, Shivling is considered a symbol of both Shiva and Shakti. This energy is very hot and powerful. Therefore, an attempt is made to pacify the Shivling by performing Jalabhishek. It is believed that by doing this some part of the energy of both the powers gets included in it. In such a situation, by sprinkling water on Shivling removed negative powers in the house.
