Date of Parivartini Ekadashi: The Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month is known as Parivartini Ekadashi. It is believed that the Vamana Avatar of Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day. Lord Vishnu changes the direction of Bhadrapada Shukla Ekadashi in Yoga Nindra, that is why this Ekadashi is called Parivartini Ekadashi. It is also known as Vamana Ekadashi, Parshva Ekadashi or Jayanti Ekadashi. It is said that Lord Vishnu went to Yoga Nindra from Devshayani Ekadashi, after that Chaumasa or Chaturmasa starts. This time is called Chaturmasa. After the day of Devuthan Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu comes out of the Yoga Nindra. After that, all the auspicious works starts, like engagements, marriages, mundan,e, etc... all these auspicious works are banned during Chaturmasa.

Muhurta of Parivatini Ekadashi 2021: According to the Hindu Calendar, the Ekadashi is starting from 9:36 am on 16th September of Shukla Paksha and it will end the next day on 17th September at 08:07 am. The Udayatithi is valid for the fast, in such a situation, the fast of Varivarti Ekadashi will be kept on Friday, 17th September.

Parivartini Ekadashi 2021 Paran Time:
Those who keep fast on 17th September, Parivartini Ekadashi, will have to break the fast between 06:07 am to 06:54 am on Saturday, 18th September. The date of Dwadashi is ending at 06:54 am, so you should do it before that. Ekadashi fast should always complete before the end of Dwadashi Tithi.
