Ravana was born in the house of Rishi Vishwas. Ravana had also done penance of Lord Shiva in this village and was pleased with which God gave him the boon of being intelligent and mighty.

According to local residents, so far 25 Shivlings have been found in this village. He told that the depth of a Shivling is such that even after excavation, its end has not been found yet. Also, all these Shivlings are octagonal, which are not anywhere. There is also a temple of Ravana in Bisrakh village, which is also worshipped every day. Also, every auspicious work is started only after worshipping Ravana.
