Pradosh Vrat July 2021 Date
According to the beliefs of Hinduism, Pradosh Vrat is the best way to please Lord Shiva in Kali Yuga. Worshiping Lord Shiva according to the law during Pradosh period gives his blessings. According to the Hindi calendar, Pradosh fast is observed on the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna and Shukla Paksha of every month. The first Pradosh fast of July month {Ashadh month} will be observed on 7th July. It is a religious belief that on Trayodashi Tithi, during Pradosh Kaal, Lord Shiva performs Ananda Tandava in the Rajat Bhawan of Mount Kailash and all the gods praise him. Therefore, all the wishes of Shiva devotee who worship Lord Shiva with law during Pradosh period by observing Pradosh fast are fulfilled.

Pradosh Vrat date and Muhurta
Due to the first Pradosh fast of Ashadh month falling on Wednesday, July 7, it is also called Budh Pradosh. The Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month will remain from 01:02 pm on 7th July to 03:20 am on 8th July.
Pradosh Kaal
Pradosh Vrat will be observed on 7th July. Pradosh Kaal, the special Muhurta for worshiping Lord Shiva, will be from 07:12 pm to 9:20 pm.
Worship Method of Pradosh Vrat
According to the scriptures, during Pradosh period, devotees should worship Lord Shiva along with mother Parvati after taking bath etc. Abhishek of Lord Bholenath and Mother Parvati with water, after that offer incense, lamp, Akshat, Roli, sweets and flowers etc. Offer Belpatra to Lord Shiva and Red Chunri and Honey to Mother Parvati.
