Saraswati Aarti: Om Jai Saraswati Mata

The goddess who symbolizes knowledge, peace, purity and cleanliness; Saraswati is the personification of education and that is represented by the scriptures, lotus and a veena that she holds in her hands. She also rides a swan who is known to have the power to segregate milk and water (which represents the power to distinguish between good and evil). Even though respected by everyone, goddess Saraswati is worshipped especially by students since she is the epitome of knowledge and therefore students want to be blessed by her before giving their exams or starting their journey in education.
