Pradosh Vrat is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to religious belief, worshipping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati by law on the day of Pradosh Vrat fulfills the desire. At the same time, it is believed to get rid of suffering. Pradosh Vrat is observed in the Triyodashi of Krishna and Shukla Paksha every month. In this way, a total of two pradosh fasts are observed in a month and 24 in a year.
 
A total of two pradosh vrats in Sawan-
The month of Sawan will be from 25th July to 22nd August. A total of two pradosh vrats will come during this period. One of the pradosh vrathas has been observed on 5th August and the other pradosh vrat will be observed on Friday, 20th August.

Auspicious combinations being made in the second pradosh vrat of Sawan-
On 20th August, the date of Triyodashi will be till 08.50 p.m. After that, it will take a quadrilateral. On the second pradosh vrat of Sawan 2021, Ayushmann and Saubhagya are becoming an auspicious combination of Yoga. Ayushman Yoga will continue till 03.32 pm on 20th August. This will be followed by Saubhagya Yoga.

Importance of Worship in Pradosh Kaal- 
Worship is of great importance during the pradosh period in pradosh vrat. The fault time begins about 45 minutes before sunset in the evening. It is said that worshipping Lord Shiva during the pradosh period yields auspicious fruits.
 
Pradosh Vrat Puja - Vidhi-
 
1.Get up early in the morning and take a bath.
2.After taking a bath, wear clean clothes.
3.Light a lamp in the temple of the house.
4.If possible, fast.
5.Anoint Lord Bholenath with Ganga water.
6.Offer flowers to Lord Bholenath.
7.On this day, worship Bholenath as well as Mother Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha is worshipped before any auspicious work. 
8.Enjoy Lord Shiva. Keep in mind that Only sattvik things are consumed by God.
9.Perform the aarti of Lord Shiva. 
10.Meditate as much as you can on this day.
11.Offer Ganga water and milk in Shivlinga.
12.Offer a bell letter to Lord Shiva.
