Sama rice khichdi recipe
Ingredients for Sama's Rice khichdi (Porridge)
- 1 bowl of Sama rice
- 1 potato (sliced into small pieces)
- 1 small bowl of peanuts
- 2 green chilies finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 4-5 curry leaves
- rock salt as per taste
- water as needed
Method to make Sama Rice’s Khichdi:
- Put ghee in a pan on medium flame and fry the peanuts lightly. Take them out on a plate.
- After this, fry green chillies, curry leaves, and potatoes in the same pan.
- Then add a pint of salt to it and cook covered on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Now add Sama rice to it, mix it well, and cover.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes after adding water.
- After the specified time, stir the rice once. If needed, add some more water and cover it again for 1-2 minutes.
- After the specified time, turn off the flame.
- Sama's rice khichdi is ready. Serve garnished with green coriander.
