This year vinayaka Chaturthi is on Monday of 14th June, this day is dedicated to lord ganesha and on this day happiness resides in your home if you worshiping him correcty.

Accoding to hindu beliefs, fasting is done for lord ganesha on vinayaka Chaturthi and doing fasting your all the problems in your life will be gone. As lord ganesha is known as the remover of obstacles.

Steps for fasting during Vinayaka Chaturthi:

• Waking up early , taking a bath and wearing new clothes with the colour red or yellow.

• Cleaning the worshiping place thoroughly and take vow of fasting for the whole day
• You can worship the lord ganesha fby lighting the lamp with ghee in front of lord ganesha is consider good.
• After lighting the lamp for  lord ganesha one should offer him milk with fruits and flowers.
• After offering the fruits you should perform an aarti to end the Pooja.
