Let's learn how to make Rabri Kheer at home. Rabri kheer is a delicious dessert. It is prepared using rabri, rice, milk, sugar, dry fruits, and raisins. The crunchiness of dry fruits gives a unique taste to this kheer. This dessert is made on special occasions and festivals. Try this delicious dessert recipe and enjoy it with your loved ones. Let's know the recipe, starting with the ingredients used-

Ingredients of Rabri Kheer
  • Readymade Rabri - 250 grams
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Raisins - 1 tbsp
  • Cashew - 10
  • water as required
  • Rice - 1/4 cup
  • Green cardamom - 1/2 tsp
  • Almonds - 10
  • Milk - 1 liter
  • How to make Rabdi Kheer
 
Step 1


First of all, put cardamom in a grinder and grind it finely. On the other hand, wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for half an hour. After half an hour, drain off excess water and then grind the rice coarsely with a grinder.

Step 2

After this, put milk in a deep-bottomed vessel and keep it on low flame. Bring it to a boil and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. As the milk starts boiling, grind the rice roughly and mix it well. Now keep stirring the milk every 1-2 minutes and turn the flame to medium.
 
Step 3

Now place cashew, nuts, and almonds on a chopping board and chop them finely. When the rice is cooked, add milk to the pan and mix all the ingredients well while stirring continuously. Then put half the amount of chopped cashews, almonds in the mixture. Now add raisins to the pan and mix well.

Step 4

When the rice and dry fruits become soft and the kheer becomes thick, then turn off the gas. Now mix sugar in the pan and add cardamom powder. Cover the pan with a lid. Keep the pan aside for 2-3 minutes till the sugar dissolves completely. Open the lid and stir the kheer well. Now let the kheer cool down and then add rabri to it.

Step 5

Rabri kheer is ready. Take out the kheer in a bowl and garnish with finely chopped cashews and almonds and enjoy.
