Paush Putrada Ekadashi Puja 2022
Paush Putrada Ekadashi Vrat is mainly observed by those women who wish for the happiness of children. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day to get children. Nothing is eaten during Ekadashi, even those who do not observe Paush Putrada Ekadashi should also avoid consuming grains, rice, cereals and specific spices and vegetables on this day. For couples who wish to have children, both wife and husband should observe Paush Putrada Ekadashi. If one cannot keep a complete fast, then one can achieve Ekadashi fruit by worshiping meditation while consuming fruit food.
On the day of Paush Putrada Ekadashi, the worshiper should avoid sleeping and perform 'Jagran' by singing devotional songs of Lord Vishnu. Reciting 'Shri Vishnu Sahasranama' and other Vedic mantras is also considered auspicious. Devotees visit the temples of Lord Vishnu as special pujas and bhajan kirtan are organized in the temples on this day.
