Akshaya Tritiya 2021 - These things are considered inauspicious

On this day of Akshaya Tritiya, don’t do these works, let’s know the importance of this day:

In Hinduism, the day of Akshaya Tritiya has special importance. Every year the festival of Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. On this day, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are being worshiped. On this day people do charity and gold and silver are also purchased on this day. It is believed that by purchasing gold on this day, Goddess Lakshmi resides in the house and there is a blessing (barkat) in the house.

According to the Hindu calendar, the day of Akshaya Tritiya is considered very auspicious. On this day auspicious events take place such as inauguration of the new house (Grah Pravesh), marriage etc. This year, on 14th May,2021 Akshaya Tritiya will be celebrated.

Let's know what should not be done on this day by which Mother Lakshmi may get angry:

Without taking bath do not break basil leaves:
On Akshaya Trithiya, Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are worshiped. It is believed that Tulsi leaves are very dear to Lord Vishnu. So, do not break basil leaves without taking a bath on this day and by doing this Mother Lakshmi gets annoyed.

Do not get angry:
On the day of Akshaya Trithiya, people who keep fast should not get angry. It is believed that by getting angry, worship does not get succeeded. On this day, do not say anything bad to anyone and try to avoid such bad habits.

Do not go home empty-handed:
On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, you should definitely buy something made of gold and silver. Then, buy any metal item if you cannot buy gold.

Construction should not be done:
On the day of Akshaya Trithiya, buying new house is considered auspicious but to do any kind of construction is considered inauspicious.

Importance of Akshaya Trithiya:
According to the beliefs one gets success in doing every work on this day. Mother Parvati herself told this thing to Dharmaraja. He said, whoever worships Lord Vishnu and Goddess Parvati by law and legislation on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, all their wishes will be fulfilled and childless people will get children.
