One of the most famous of Hindu deities is lord Hanuman. Also known as Pavanputra or Anjaneya, Hanuman is a perfect blend of seva bhav (quality of service), bhakti bhav (quality of devotion) and samarpan bhav (quality of sacrifice). He symbolizes the power of breath. Blessed by Goddess Sita, Hanuman is believed to remain active on earth till the end of time. He is one of the oldest super-man known to us, possessing the ability to expand or contract his body to fly across unimaginable distances. His character acts as a guide for one and all, in terms of what we can become just by becoming pure devotees of God. Although usually worshipped by people involved in sports and games, the recital of Hanuman aarti on regular basis can reap several benefits to everyone. It offers mind peace, keeping one away from evil. The wishes desired are also said to be fulfilled through chanting of the aarti and it simply makes you healthy and wealthy.
