According to Pt. Chandan Shyamnarayan Vyas, the Dashami date may be starting from 2.21 pm on October 4, but the major Panchangs originating from Ujjain are Shri Shiv Damodar Divya Panchang, Shri Mahakal Simhanstha Panchang, Narayan Vijay Panchang, Shri Kullu. In the Vikramaditya Panchang and Shri Bhadva Mata Panchang, it has been justified to celebrate Vijayadashami festival on October 5 only. According to Pt. Vyas, the tenth day will remain till 12 noon on October 5, so on this day, weapon worship can be done in the morning. On the question of burning Ravana when the date comes out on the night of October 5, he says that the people kill Ravana according to their convenience. In such a situation, if Ravana is burnt on the night of 5 October, then there is nothing wrong in it.
