Modak: This sweet made from mawa i.e. khoya is very much liked as an offering to Lord Ganesha. It is said that this is one of the favorite Bhog of Ganpati. You can taste this sweet in every street during Ganesh Chaturthi in Maharashtra. Make sure to offer it to God.

Modak is the favorite of Lord Ganesha
According to a mythological story, there was a war between Lord Ganesh  and Lord Parashuram . In this war, Lord Ganesh's tooth was broken, due to which he was finding it very difficult to eat anything. In such a situation, modaks were made for them. Because modaks are very soft and dissolve in the mouth. Also, being sweet, it does not cause any kind of pain in the mouth. Since then, Lord Ganesh modak is the most loved bhog and that is the reason, devotees offer his favorite thing to please him.
Ghee and Jaggery: It is believed that sweet things are very dear to Lord Ganesha in the offerings. Although, as soon as we hear the name of sweet, different types of sweets start coming in our mind, but there are some people in the world who cannot even make or buy this sweet. But this does not mean that if you do not offer sweets to Ganpati Maharaj, then you are not his devotee. True meaning of Bhakti is associated with faith and true faith is associated with
 Therefore, if someone is not able to buy or make sweets, then they can put barfi made of jaggery and desi ghee or these things directly in front of them. While making ghee and jaggery barfi, use grated coconut in it.

Coconut Rice: If you want, you can also offer coconut rice to Lord Ganesha during worshipWhile making this prasad, take coconut milk and cook rice in it. Add honey or jaggery to it for sweetness. After offering Bhog, you must also eat this prasad, because its taste is also very wonderful.
