January 2, Monday - Posh Putrada Ekadashi
In the month of Paush, the Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha is called Paush Putrada Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day. It is believed that by observing this fast one gets a child, hence it is called Paush Putrada Ekadashi. Children are also protected by the effect of this fast.

January 4, Wednesday - Pradosh Vrat (Shukla)
We also know Pradosh Vrat by the name of Trayodashi Vrat. This fast is dedicated to Lord Shiva. According to Puranas, by observing this fast one gets good health and long life. According to the scriptures, Pradosh Vrat comes many times in a year and twice in a month.

January 6, Friday - Paush Purnima fast
Purnima Tithi has great importance in Hinduism. The moon is in its full size on the full moon day. The special importance of donating, bathing and offering Arghya to the Sun God on the day of Paush Purnima has been mentioned in the Hindu scriptures. Achievement is achieved by performing religious rituals on this day.

January 10, Tuesday - Sankat Chauth
Sankashti Chaturthi means Chaturthi Vrat will be the one who defeats the crisis. On this day a person worships Ganapati to get rid of his sorrows. According to Puranas, worshiping Shri Ganesha on Chaturthi day is very fruitful. On this day fasting is observed from the time of sunrise till the time of moonrise. Ganapati is worshiped on Sankashti Chaturthi with full rituals.
