Karva Chauth Puja Muhurat Auspicious Time 2023
This year Karva Chauth puja will be performed on 1 November 2023, Wednesday. Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month will start on 31 October 2023 at 09:30 PM and Chaturthi Tithi will end on 01 November 2023 at 09:19 PM. According to Uday Tithi, the fast of Karva Chauth will be observed on 1st November only. The time of Karva Chauth puja and story will be from 05:36 to 06:54 in the evening. As soon as the moon rises in the night, the moon will be worshiped and Arghya will be offered to the moon. The time of moonrise will be 08:15 pm.

Rules related to sargi and fast
The fast of Karva Chauth is considered incomplete without Sargi. Sargi is the love given by mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law. Only after receiving this Sargi, one gets the happiness of completing the fast. It is considered auspicious to consume Sargi in the morning at Brahma Muhurta time. Apart from this, consuming Sargi before sunrise is considered according to the scriptures. The fast starts only after taking this. Along with food items, makeup and other things are kept in Sargi.

In Sargi, food items are eaten in the morning under the shade of stars and after that nothing is eaten or drunk. Katha is recited in the evening while remaining hungry and thirsty throughout the day and chanting the name of God. The fast is completed after performing Chandra Arghya puja at night. In this way, by following all the rules, this fast is completed and one gets the blessing of a happy life.
