On the day of Akshaya Tritiya, Moon and Venus together in Taurus will create Lakshmi Yoga which is really special. This is also considered to be a yog which increases wealth and property. According to the mythology texts and scriptures, the beginning of Treta Yuga is considered to be from the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Lord Parshuram was incarnated on this day, and the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham are opened on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. On this day, bathing of Ganges has special significance and especially on this day Mata Lakshmi is worshiped.

Akshaya Tritiya is considered to be a Siddha Muhurta. On this day, there is no need to see the almanac( panchang) for any auspicious work or to take out the Muhurta. This day is considered to increase prosperity. On this day, the purchase of new items increases prosperity in the house. On this day, chanting, tenacity, worship and charity are of special importance.
On this festival, donations must be made to the needy, Brahmins and religious places. On this day Lakshmi Mata should be specially worshiped, due to which she gets her undeserved kindness.
