Auspicious time for Budh Pradosh fast
According to the Panchang, Trayodashi Tithi will last from 8:30 am on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, to 10:37 in the morning on Thursday, August 25, 2022, while Pradosh Kaal will be from 6:52 minutes in the evening on August 24 to 9. :04 is up to minutes. In this way, Shiva Sadhaks will be able to perform their worship during Pradosh Kaal which lasts for about 2 hours. Since the Pradosh Vrat falling on a particular day is named after him, then it will be called Budh Pradosh Vrat.
Worship method of Budh Pradosh fast
Whoever observes a Pradosh fast, wake up early in the morning and take a bath and offer water to the Sun God first. After that, after taking a resolution to observe Pradosh fast for Lord Shiva, worship Lord Shiva with the law. Anyone who is fasting on this day should not sleep during the day. Chant Om Namah Shivaya Mantra throughout the day.
After this, one should take a bath once again in the evening before doing special Shiva worship of Pradosh. In the evening, while worshiping Lord Shiva according to the law, recite the story of Pradosh Vrat and perform aarti.
