Mahashivaratri, the festival of worship of Lord Shiva, is falling on February 18 this month. According to Puranas and Agama texts, worshipping Mahadev on this day is very fruitful. He is pleased by performing Rudrabhishek, and devotees ask him to fulfil all their wishes. Many measures have been mentioned in Shivpuran and other scriptures. You will benefit from the measures of Shivpuran.On Mahashivratri, chant the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra: Om Haan Jun Sah, Om Bhurbhuvah Swah, and Om Tryambakam. Yajamahe Sugandhi Pushtivardhanam Urvvarukamiv Bandhanamrityo Mukshiya Mamritat: "Om Swah Bhuvah Bhooh," "Om Sah Jun Haun," and "Om 108 times, anoint yourself with water." Even the most incurable diseases can be cured by this. Many people want to get the devotion of Lord Shiva apart from all their other desires. If they chant 108 rounds of the Panchakshari mantra Om Namah Shivay while sitting in the Mahadev temple on the day of Shivratri, then they get devotion to Shiva. If there is a problem in marriage, then offer milk mixed with saffron on this day to Shivling. Due to this, chances of getting married soon are also created, and happiness comes in life. To get rid of poverty and get wealth, after worshipping Mahadev on the day of Shivratri, fish should be fed balls of flour, and during this time the Om Namah Shivay mantra should be chanted continuously. To get rid of all the problems of life, Nandi should be fed green fodder and jaggery on the day of Mahashivaratri. After this, by doing this continuously for the next seven Mondays, the biggest problem in the lives of the devotees gets solved.
In Shivpuran, a remedy has also been described for getting a child. On this day, eleven Shivlings should be made from flour, and Bholenath should be worshipped after anointing them with water. Childless people also get children through this remedy.
