Worship and benefits on the day of Paush Amavasya
The special importance of donating a bath is told on the date of Paush Amavasya. In this case, on the day of Paush Amavasya, one should bathe in a holy river early in the morning. If this is not possible for you, then take a bath by mixing Ganga water in water at home. After this clean clothes should be worn. Offer Arghya to the Sun God by taking water in a copper pot.
