According to the Hindu calendar, the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start from 1:16 pm on Friday 23 September and end on Saturday 24 September at 02:31 pm. But Pradosh Vrat will be kept only on 23rd September. This fast is also called Shukra Pradosh Vrat because of Pradosh fasting on Friday.

Worship method of Shukra Pradosh fast
On the day of Shukra Pradosh fast, it is best to visit Lord Shiva's temple and worship him. On this day Lord Shiva should be offered Akshat, fruits, flowers and sweets. One should do aarti of God and chant mantras. Offering cannabis, datura, belpatra and rudraksh to Shiva on this day fulfills every wish of life.
