Ganesh Chaturthi Puja
This day is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The first god worshipped in the Hindu religion is Lord Ganapati. In the Hindu religion, Lord Ganesha is considered the first worshipable deity and in the month of Margashirsha, such a coincidence is taking place that the worship of Lord Ganesha will start on the first day of this month. Every year, on the Chaturthi date of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha month, Ganesh Chaturthi or Ganadheep Chaturthi is celebrated. At the time of Ganesh Chaturthi, worship starts early in the morning. On this day, after taking a bath, clean clothes are worn and a resolution is taken to worship Lord Ganesha and fast.
Spread a red or yellow cloth on a post in the puja room and worship is done after installing the idol of Lord Ganesha on it. Lord Ganesha is worshipped by offering things like Kumkum, Akshat, Durva, Roli, sweets etc. and the puja fast is concluded by reciting the name and mantra of the Lord. Worshiping God removes all kinds of troubles.
