Shiva who is always known for his innocence. Due to which Shiva is also called Bhola Bhandari. Who rides on Nandi. Shiva is made up of ashes. Monday is considered as the day of Lord Shiva, and Shakti is always with Shiva, due to which Shiva is also called Ardh Nareshwar.
On whom Shiva gets angry, he does not escape from their wrath under any circumstances. And on whom the blessings of Shiva shower, his life becomes blessed.
Shiva Chaturdashi is therefore very important because when a person does fast with full devotion, all the sins of his parents are destroyed.
Today we will know how to worship Shiva Chaturdashi
According to the Hindu calendar, the Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of each month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shiva Chaturdashi fast is observed on this day. Shiva Chaturdashi of Shravan month is on 9 August. On this whole day, separate laws are prescribed for the worship of Shiva. By observing fast on this day, a person is freed from the bondage of work, anger, greed, attachment etc. In Shiva Chaturdashi fast, Mata Parvati, Ganesh ji, Kartikeya and Shiv garns are worshiped along with Shiva.
Rules of fasting on this day
The fasting person of Shiva Chaturdashi should eat only one time. On this morning, take a resolution to fast and worship Shiva with incense, deep flowers etc. Bhang, Dhatura and Belpatra have special significance in worship. Chanting of Shiva mantras results in sitting in the east part of the Shiva temple or house. After Chaturdashi, Brahmins should take food and eat themselves. Chaitra mantras should be chanted during the night on Chaturdashi. Some of the special mantras of Shiva are as follows-
These flowers should not be offered to Lord Shiva in the spring, Puranas are forbidden
"Om Namah: Shivaay" and "Shivaaya Namah"
Chant this mantra at night-

Worship like this
Mata Parvati, Ganesh ji, Kartikeya ji and Shiva garns are worshiped along with Lord Shiva during Shiva Chaturdashi fast. Lord Shiva is anointed at the beginning of worship. In this consecration, water, milk, curd, pure ghee, honey, sugar, Ganga jal and sugarcane juice etc. with these thing Lord Shiva bathed. After performing Abhishek, Lord Shiva is pleased with Belpatra, Samipatra, Kusha and Dube etc. In the end, Bhang , dhatura and shriphal offered to Mahadev as bhog. On the day of Shiva Chaturdashi, devotee should observe his fast for the whole day.

A person who observes Shiva Chaturdashi fasts with all reverence and all the sins of his parents are destroyed. Apart from this, all his own troubles are removed and he enjoys all the pleasures of life. With the glory of this fast, a person attains longevity, opulence, health, children and learning etc., and finally goes to Shivaloka.
