But for the last few years, the tradition of celebrating Tulsi Pujan Day on December 25 has come into practise in India. This practise began in 2014, and many central ministers and saints of the country expressed the significance of Tulsi Puja through social media platforms at the time. Since then, Tulsi Pujan Day has been observed on December 25, 2022.
Lakshmi never resides in a house where there is an atmosphere of poverty, unrest, and discord. According to astrology, if this happens and a Tulsi plant is planted and worshipped, it will bring wealth and happiness.
It is believed that by reciting any mantra, stotra, etc. near the Tulsi plant, it will give infinitely more fruit. Ghosts, vampires, Brahmarakshasas, demons, etc. all run away from the Tulsi plant. Bad thoughts are destroyed by worshipping Tulsi. According to Padmapuran, if a person applies the water dripping from Tulsi leaves on his head, then by doing this much, that person gets Ganga Snan and the fruit of one hundred godans.

Diseases are destroyed by worshipping Tulsi, and good health is attained. Sins are destroyed by worshipping Tulsi, planting Tulsi, and wearing Tulsi. Tulsi worship opens the doors of heaven and salvation. Even a leaf of Tulsi gives great virtue in Shraddha, Yagya, etc. Merits are attained only by chanting the name of Tulsi. All the sins of man are destroyed. Therefore, all people are benefited by these qualities of Tulsi.
