Correcting his mistakes, he leaves home gets absorbed in penance and receives the blessings of the name Ram Ram by chanting the name 'Mara Mara'. After years of hard meditation, his penance is successful and he gets the name Valmiki then with the advent of the holy book like Ramayana, the welfare of mankind becomes possible.
