Importance of Lord Ganesha according to Vastu
If the Vaastu defect is resolved by installing Ganesha at that place, it can be freed from the defect, but if the Vaastu defect present at that place is resolved by any other deity or power, then in such a situation the installation of Ganesha at that place will be ineffective. Ganesha is considered the first worshipper. Any auspicious work is started with the worship of Lord Ganesha. In such a situation, there is no hindrance of any kind in that work.

Ganesh idol direction
When keeping the Ganesh idol at home, it is considered auspicious to choose the northeast corner for it. The presence of Lord Ganesha in this place makes the life of the devotees auspicious. Ganpati installation should be done in such a way that the face of the idol is towards the west. Clean the place where the idol of Lord Shri Ganesh is installed daily. Keep in mind that garbage etc. should not accumulate at that place.
Do not keep the idol of Lord Ganesha here and there i.e. do not move it because it is not considered right to do so after the installation of the deity. It is auspicious to light a lamp and offer food to Lord Shri Ganesha in the morning and evening and perform aarti.
Take special care of purity at the place of installation like one should not touch the idol of God while being impure or wearing slippers. Do not go to the establishment site under the influence of any kind of intoxication, it violates the sanctity of that place, hence take special care of these things. It will be better if you always offer Durva and fresh flowers in the worship of Lord Ganesha. By worshipping Lord Ganesha daily in this way, all your wishes can be fulfilled.
