Makhan Mishri is a mixture of fresh white butter with a sprinkling of coarsely ground sugar candy. Makhan Mishri is an essential item of Bhog Chappan Bhog (the traditional 56 items prepared for offering to Bal Gopal, it is first offered to Lord Krishna and then distributed to others as Prasad.
