According to the Hindu calendar, the new moon day of Krishna Paksha of Ashadha month starts at 5:52 minutes on Tuesday, June 28. The closing date of Amavasya will be on Wednesday, June 29, at 8:21 am. According to the belief of Udaya Tithi, Ashadh Amavasya is on 29th June.

Do this work on the day of Ashadh Amavasya

On this day, after getting up in the morning, take a bath and offer Arghya to the Sun God. While offering Arghya to Sun God, chant Gayatri Mantra. By doing this the mind gets peace.

* Pind Daan, Shradh, and Tarpan are done for the peace of ancestors on the day of Ashadh Amavasya. By doing this one gets the blessings of the ancestors.

* On the day of Ashadh Amavasya, by visiting the Shiva temple and consecrating the Shivling, one gets freedom from Kaal Sarp Dosh.

* If the ancestors are pleased by doing charity on the day of Ashadh Amavasya, then the life of the descendant is happy.

* On the day of Ashadh Amavasya, go to the river or pond and put the fish in the form of flour balls. By doing this, the problems in life are reduced.

* Offer food to the chits of Ashadh Amavasya. Make a tablet by mixing sugar in the flour of the ants. Then feed this pill to the ants.
