According to the Panchag, this year Bhadrapada Amavasya will start from 12:23 pm on 26 August 2022 and will remain till 01:46 pm on 27 August 2022. Since the Sanatan tradition Udaya Tithi is considered to be the basis of any Teej or festival, worship will be done on 27th August 2022 considering Bhadrapada Amavasya.

Waking up before sunrise on the new moon day of Bhadrapada month, if possible, take bath and meditate in a river or in your home.
