Krishnakumar Kunath, known as KK or KK, is an Indian singer, who has been the lead singer in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil films.  KK, or Krishnakumar Kunath, was known for some of Bollywood's biggest hits, such as 'Pal' and 'Yaaron'.  His songs gained popularity among teenagers in the late 1990s, and their voices were mainly heard at school and college or cultural events.  Singer KK died of a heart attack on May 31, 2022, hours after giving a live performance in Kolkata.  He was 53 years old.  KK was feeling unwell while performing at a concert at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata.  The show started at 5 pm.  After the show, he returned to his hotel in the Esplanade, where he complained of restlessness.  He was taken to the Calcutta Medical Research Institute at around 10.30 pm, where he was declared brought dead.
