Vaishno Devi: - True Place of Devotion
The temple of Vaishno Devi Maa is situated on the tricot mountain of the Katra city of Jammu. Goddess Saraswati, Mata Lakshmi, and Mahakali Mata are worshipped in this temple in the form of Pindi. Mata Vaishno Devi destroys the pride of the people, this thing is known from the mythology. According to the legend, once Akbar made fun of the devotees of the goddess and doubted the power of the mother. He proudly brought a golden umbrella to the court of the goddess. At that time, to honor the faith and devotion of her devotees and to destroy the pride of Akbar, the goddess had converted the gold umbrella brought by her into a metal that no one knew about which metal it was. Seeing this miracle, Akbar’s pride was shattered and he had to apologize to the goddess and her devotees.
Raghunath temple: - Awe Striking Architecture
Raghunath temple is quite famous in Jammu and Kashmir. This temple is in front of which all the buildings are small this temple in Jammu was built by Maharaja Ranveer Singh. This temple was started to be built by Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1835. This temple was completed during the time of his son Maharaja Ranveer Singh. This temple is decorated with gold leaves and sheets.
