Upanayana Muhur:
The Upanayana ceremony has a special significance from a spiritual point of view. In this ceremony, the child is duly made to wear a fast according to the age. There is no auspicious time in the month of January for Upanayana ceremony. Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are auspicious days to wear Upavit.

Home Entry Muhurta:
While entering a new house, there is a provision of special worship at the auspicious time. There is no auspicious time for home entry in January. By the way, apart from Amavasya and Poornima, house entry can be done on Dwitiya, Tritiya, Panchami, Saptami, Dashami, Ekadashi, Dwadashi and Trayodashi Tithi in Shukla Paksha. However, one should not enter the house on Tuesday, Sunday and Saturday.
Panchak period:
