Pradosh fast date and auspicious timeAccording to the Hindu Panchang, the Trayodashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Magh month will start at 4.25 p.m. on February 2, 2022, and will end on February 3 at 6.59 p.m. This fast will be observed on Thursday, February 2, 2022, due to the worship of Lord Shiva during the Pradosh period. On this day, the puja muhurta will be from 6.2 pm to 8.37 pm.
Pradosh fast worship methodOn the day of Guru Pradosh Vrat, take a bath in Brahma Muhurta and wear clean clothes. After this, take a vow of fasting by offering Arghya to the sun. It is auspicious to worship Lord Shiva along with Lord Vishnu on this day, and by doing this, Lord Vishnu is pleased. It is believed that by worshipping Lord Vishnu on Thursday, all problems go away.

After this, Rudrabhishek of Lord Shiva should be done in the auspicious time of the Pradosh period, i.e., in the evening, and the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra chanted 108 times. The Aarti and Chalisa of Lord Shiva should be recited at the end of the puja.
