Trayodashi Shradh will be performed on Friday, 23 September 2022. On this day, the Qutup Muhurta will be from 11:49 to 12:37, the duration of which will be 48 minutes, apart from this, the Rauhin Muhurta will be from 12:37 to 13:26 in the afternoon.
 The time of PM will be from 13:26  to 15:51. Trayodashi Tithi will start on 23 September 2022 from 25:17 and Trayodashi Tithi will end on 24 September 2022 at 26:30.

Trayodashi Shradh is the Trayodashi date of Pitru Paksha. On this day Shradh is performed for those persons who died on the Trayodashi day of either of the two sides. Kutup Muhurta and Rohin Muhurta are considered auspicious for performing Shradh.
The Muhurta after that also lasts till the end of Aparna Kala. At the end Shradh Tarpan is performed. It is said in Markandeya Purana Shastra that the ancestors get satisfaction from Shradh and health, wealth and happiness are attained. It is believed that the person who performs all the rituals of Shradh attains salvation. The present generation pays its debt by performing Shradh to ancestors during Pitru Paksha.

The one who performs Shradh should work on this day with a pure heart.
 Those who perform Shradh on this date in the morning should wear clean clothes after taking bath. This work should be done while wearing dhoti and holy thread. One who performs the tarpan should wear a ring of grass and a sacred thread. As per the rituals, the sacred thread is changed several times during the rituals. Pind Daan is performed, a round pile of rice, cow's milk, ghee, sugar and honey is made called Pind.
 Pind is offered to the ancestors with reverence and respect. Water is poured slowly from a pot during the ritual of tarpan along with black sesame and barley. Lord Vishnu and Yama are worshiped at this time. Food is given first to the cow, then to crows, dogs and ants. After that food and dakshina are given to the Brahmins. These days charity and charity are considered very fruitful. They also make arrangements for ritual recitation of Bhagavad Purana and Bhagavad Gita during this time.
